About Gelled Solar Battery:
Gelled batteries belong to a development classification of lead-acid batteries. The method is to add a gelling agent to sulfuric acid to make the sulfuric acid electro-hydraulic gel. Electro-hydraulic batteries are commonly referred to as colloidal batteries.
The most important features of gel batteries are as follows:
The interior of the colloidal battery is mainly a SiO2 porous network structure with a large number of tiny gaps, which can smoothly transfer the oxygen generated by the battery positive electrode to the negative electrode plate, which is convenient for the negative electrode to absorb and combine;
The amount of acid carried by the gel battery is large, so its capacity is basically the same as that of the AGM battery;
Colloidal batteries have large internal resistance and generally do not have good high-current discharge characteristics;
The heat is easy to spread, it is not easy to heat up, and the chance of thermal runaway is small.

Gassing rate of gelled batteries is only 5% of ordinary sealed batteries.
Long-life Design
The lifespan is greater than 1000 times at 25ºC, ordinary battery is just 600 times by Industry Standard. The lifespan will vary considerably with how it is used, how it is maintained and charged, temperature, and other factors. But usually 5-8 years.
Wider Temperature Range
-30ºC to 55ºC, Adapt well in different temperature and charge and discharge conditions
Extremely good discharge recovery ability
When discharging nearly to 0V, then short the battery bipolar for 24 Hrs and re-charge again fully and operate 5 times. The battery could discharge 90% of initial capacity when discharge to 10.5V every time.
